Returning the Names campaign takes place in many cities around the world. On this day, thousands of people line up and, one after another, read aloud the names of those shot by the Soviet authorities.
This year we are trying to spread the donations to support the organisers of the campaign in different cities and to hold a big broadcast on 29 October.
We collect money for technical support of the actions, the updating of the website, translations of titles and other texts, and organization and design of actions all over the world.
Today, when propaganda in Russia, working also in many other countries, is carefully trying to erase and control the memory of terror in order to justify modern repression and war crimes, it is more important than ever to hold this action.
